Associate Professor Robyn Iredale, BA (Hons) Dip Ed. Sydney, MA, PhD. Macquarie

MATES Consulting Pty Ltd was formed in 2004 to build on the experience and regional expertise of its founder, Associate Professor Robyn Iredale. Professor Iredale is a leading international specialist in migration and labour skills. She has carried out and managed projects for UNESCO, ASEAN, UNDP, UNCTAD, APEC, the Ford Foundation, and a range of Australian agencies. She contributes regularly to major international forums and publications.

The Director, Associate Professor Robyn Iredale is a human geographer and was employed as a full-time researcher at the University of Wollongong from 1990 to January 2005. She has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Australian Demographic and Social Research Institute, Australian National University, since 2004. She was a member of the National Population Council from 1987 to 1992 and Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Migration Research Network (APMRN) Secretariat from 2001 to 2007.
